Be an Intern for a Grant Writer

Talking Grants is seeking interns to provide support to successfully meet deadlines, effectively manage grants preparation, and meet goals. The internships are unpaid and require a commitment of at least 10 hours per week.

Essential Duties

Some of the duties/responsibilities you will have as a Grant Writer’s Intern are as follows:


  • Researching potential funding opportunities
  • Preparing documents for submission to developing small project requests
  • Searching for articles using various databases
  • Editing and proofreading
  • General duties (e.g., agendas, minutes, scheduling)

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications needed for the Grant Writing Internship are as follows:


  • Problem Solver

  • Computer Literate
